  3. Welcome to the Accent Working Model! Accent, the first truly universal 
  4. word processor for Windows, is the tool you need to help you communicate 
  5. easily and persuasively in an increasingly global market. Accent takes a 
  6. new approach to multilingual word processing. With Accent, you can use
  7. over 30 languages from 5 alphabets in the same document.

  20. About the Accent Working Model
  21. ------------------------------
  22. The Accent Working Model includes most of the features you would find in 
  23. the complete package. Features included in the complete retail package 
  24. which are not included in this working model are:
  25. - 79 fully scalable TrueType fonts
  26. - conversion filters from Windows and DOS word processors
  27. - graphics import filters for most popular graphics formats
  28. - spelling checker in 17 languages
  29. - thesaurus in 9 languages
  30. - hyphenation in 13 languages
  31. - Berlitz (R) Interpreter (TM) word translation utility with over 
  32.   60,000 entries in 5 languages
  33. - on-line help in 8 languages
  34. - Tutorial and Quick Start

  36. The ability to save files is disabled in the Accent working model. The 
  37. working model includes one fully scalable TrueType font for each non-
  38. Western European language supported.
  39. For more detailed information about the program, open the demo_eng.acc 
  40. file when running the Accent program.

  42. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  43. -------------------
  44. PC with an 80386 processor
  45. Microsoft Windows 3.1 (any language version!)
  46. 2.5 MB of free disk space
  47. A VGA screen
  48.  
  49. Installation Procedure
  50. ----------------------
  51. Unzip the file ACCENTWM.ZIP into a directory on your hard disk. In 
  52. Windows under File menu run the Accent Working Model Setup.exe program.
  53. Accent's installation program will prompt you for any necessary 
  54. information and notify you when your installation is complete.

  56. Important note: 
  57.  
  58. Fonts that come with the Working Model are installed by the installation 
  59. program. These fonts are marked with standard Windows language 
  60. information. If you remove these fonts from your system, reinstall them 
  61. using the Accent setup program. Do not use the Windows control panel 
  62. which may change the language markings (especially Eastern European Windows).
